Q: What type of artwork do I need to send?

A:  All suppliers require clean, sharp black and white artwork for reproduction of custom logos, (please see Art Transfer) unless specifically noted. Artwork should be color separated for multicolor imprints. Letterheads, yellow page advertisements or photo copies are not generally accepted to provide acceptable printing results. Artwork can be sent by e-mail to artwork@encorepremiums.com. Please email us a copy of your art if you have any questions.

Q: What about set -up charges?

A: Depending on the production method, the item and the price structure, charges for setup may apply. Generally, manufacturers maintain files for a maximum of 24 months. Reorders placed after the 24 month period will require a new setup charge.

Q: How do I know if the item color is correct?

A: Color samples show are to be used as a guide only. Due to variances in the photographic and the printing processes involved, slight variations in the product color may occur. If a color is to be used for a particular "color" coordinated promotion and product color is a significant part of the promotion, we ask that you order a random sample or a product proof prior to production.

Q: How do I know if the imprint color is correct?

A: Standard imprint colors vary from item to item and manufacturer to manufacturer. If a specific PMS color match is required, contact us for pricing for the specific product as each manufacturer will have their own pricing policy.

Q: Can I request delivery at a future date?

A:  Generally, manufacturers and Encore Premiums can accommodate orders calling for delivery at some future date. However, at these deeply discounted prices all orders must be completed and shipped no later than the last calendar day of the current catalog year.

Q: Are all items available in multiple colors and multi-location printing?

A: Unless specifically quoted for the product, all pricing includes single color only printed in a single location. For items not listing multicolor or multi-location printing as an option, contact us for pricing.

Q: Will these prices always be the same?

A: Our Specials are often for a limited time only such as 30 days and are subject to expiration per the manufacturer.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: All production times listed are "approximate" and cannot be guaranteed due to variations depending on seasonal changes. Times quoted are actual "working days" (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). For "Special Event Dated" orders, please contact your Encore Premiums representative.

Q: Do I get a proof of my item before production?

A: Paper proofs of the proposed imprint copy can be provided on each item upon request. Add $7.50 net. Product proofs may be available on certain items, consult your Encore Premiums representative for costs.

Q: Are samples available of your items?

A: Random imprinted samples are available on any product shown in our catalog at 50% of the smallest quantity list price shown. All samples shipped prepaid by Purolator ground. If expedited service is needed appropriate charges will apply.

Q: Can I request my product for a certain date?

A: Do not "assume" that a specific date can be met if the item ordered is for a special event and would be worthless if delivered after that date. Each case must be specially authorized by an Encore Premiums representative. Once authorization has been pre-approved, be certain to expedite your order by overnight delivery to Encore Premium.   Also be sure that the Encore Premiums representative's name that received the pre-approval is listed on the order form.

Q: Do you ever make item substitutions?

A: At times, Encore Premiums and our manufacturers find it necessary to make substitutions. We reserve the right to provide like product or equal or greater value without notice. Note: It is especially prevalent on caps advertised as "imports" - we do not advertise or guarantee a specific import brand. This may vary from order to order depending on availability. On wearables it is not uncommon to find variations between "dye lots" and colors may also vary from order to order.

Q: Do you ever have under-runs or over-runs?

A: Due to the very nature of automated high-speed production equipment and methods it is not possible to guarantee exact quantities. It is industry standard practice to allow for an under or over run of 5% on certain items. Invoices will reflect the actual quantity shipped.
